Touchdown in Paradise

We finally made it to paradise! Our flight took off from Phoenix at 8:30 p.m. last night on the 13th and six hours later we landed on the island of Oahu, arriving at 11:30 p.m. Hawaii time. It was a smooth flight, Britt was out pretty quick and then there was Cam who was like a little kid on Christmas Eve who was too excited to sleep. Ha ha, he eventually relaxed though ;) and passed out as well. 

Once we arrived, a bus from the school picked us up along with four other players and Coach Mark, Natalie and Dax. We were dropped off at our new place we'll be calling "home" or our "love shack" ;) ha ha for the next nine months in Laie. It's tiny, tight, has no bathroom sink and crammed between two houses but it's going to be perfect for us. We were exhausted by the time we got to our place so it was only a matter of minutes we both passed out hard. 

This morning we woke up early so Cam could get over to the school to go to meetings, meet the A.D. for his approval of Cam, and get soccer business done with Mark. While the two of us walked over to campus Cam had a grin from ear to ear (he hasn't stopped smiling since we got here) he is loving it here already and he hasn't even been to any BEACHES YET!!

In the mean time while Cam is working, Britt is off to the beach to soak up the Hawaii sun! :) ha ha
