First home cooked meal & Devotionals

We found out our ward starts at 2 p.m. Yes, 2 p.m. awful, right? That's what we think anyway. However, we didn't go to our new ward today because two of my friends were speaking. So, we ended up going to two different sacraments instead to listen to them speak. After church we made our first Sunday meal at our place. Even with very limited counter space and no dinner table we still managed to make something great. With our George Foreman and Hot Plate we were able to come up with this little number. We definitely are still in need of a Rice Cooker and a Crock Pot, especially with this 2 o'clock church we'll be having and our 25 pound bag of rice (literally, ha ha). So, if any of you out there have any amazing Crock Pot RECIPE'S throw em this way for us (:
Chicken & Whole Grain Rice with Veggies.
Cam's great idea to buy SWEET CHILI SAUCE. We added a little of this on top and our meal was quite complete.
Soooooo gooooood (:

Later this evening, I had a Devotional with my soccer team at the Temple in the Visitor's Center. This was our first team bonding experience this season. It's such a blessing to be surrounded by so many girls that have the same values and beliefs with such strong testimonies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. All of these girls are such great examples to me, each one of them. Even all the new freshman coming in, I know they are going to be amazing and I can't wait to get to know them. I can not express how grateful I am to be here at BYU Hawaii doing what I love and to be surrounded by such amazing people.

Even when it's overcast this temple is still absolutely beautiful.

Cam also had a devotional with his team and he said it went really well. I'll try to get him to blog sometime soon, so you can hear it from him and not me! Ha ha!
