Flight Cancellation

Today we soon found out why Allegiant Airline tickets are so cheap. Apparently, they're known for cancelling their flights randomly (we had no idea). . . which is exactly what happened to our flight to Hawaii today. We arrived at the airport two hours before our flight was scheduled to take off and we were then informed the flight was cancelled and was moved to tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m.! We were quite bummed and mad at the situation because we were so pumped to get out to the island today. However, the airline apologized and got us a free night stay at the Country Inns & Suites, a rental car, as well as a $200 voucher for a future flight each. We were grateful for that, I mean it was the least they could do! What airline can just cancel a flight like that??? Anyway, we ended up making the day out of it with head coach Mark, his wife Natalie and their adorable baby Dax who were on the same flight as us. We found some good grub at a yummy Mexican restaurant, then finished the night off with a Diamondbacks game. This was Britt's first time going to a Major League Baseball game. And as much as neither of us really get into baseball, we actually had a great time and not to mention the Dbacks won the game on a homer.
