TURKEY DAY

GOBBLE GOBBLE!
"There's a great big turkey down on Grandpa's farm
and he thinks he's very gay.
He spreads his feathers in a great big fan as he struts around all day.
You can hear him gobble at the girls and boys
'Cause he thinks he's funny when he makes that noise.
He'll sing his song another way,
Upon Thanksgiving Day
GOBBLE GOBBLE"
One family tradition in my family is that my mom would always sing this 'turkey' song to us as kids growing up. And now every thanksgiving it has to be sung. Since I was in Hawaii this year I had to call her so she could sing it over the phone (: I imagine I'll carry it on to my own children one day.

My very first turkey! DON'T BE HATIN! It may not be the prettiest, and I may have forgot to dress it, however, I didn't dry it out. It was still pretty moist!

Don't you think Cam could be cut out for one of those old time movie stars? I thought this picture is an awesome replica of a classic photo of the oldest male carving the turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
You know something like this or other... ;)

We were able to share Thanksgiving dinner with my wonderful besties out here! We had the most delicious Thanksgiving feast. We stuffed our faces with all the essential Thanksgiving foods!

Oh and don't forget that Pumpkin and Apple Pie with a dollop of whipping cream! Mmmm mmm mmm (: The girls made the best pie!

Maybe a little too excited?
Cam made sure to wear his "Bolow" tie, with glasses, and his hair combed nicely to the side. He was so excited for our feast to come!

I made everyone a little Thanksgiving card out of construction paper. Haha, I felt like I was back in the 3rd grade or something. But, it was the thought that counted, right?

Last but not least, (: We missed being away from home and spending the holiday with these hooligans, so we got some quality Skype time in with them instead.

Oh, and don't worry... the 'trip to fan' kicked in and we all got a nice Thanksgiving nap in!
